Today, when I woke up, I was amazed to find an extra $900 sitting in my bank account!

is now MINE! (And by mine I mean my honey's and mine ^_^)

I did it! I didn't back down. Yes, at first I began to second guess myself, as I know I always do.... and I wondered....

"That's a lot of money to spend on a bed..."
"Is there another that I would like just as much?"
"Should I take some more time to look?"

"NO!! You stop it! You work hard! Your husband works hard! If you procrastinate you will find somewhere else for the money to go!"

I told Duane today on the phone that I bought it... and after all is said and done that I spent $1568.60 on the bed (not including the $40 club membership required to buy it). He said "Wow... that's more expensive than any of our other furniture."

I hadn't realized that, but he is right. The only other furniture that comes close are our sofa and love seat that together cost us about $1200.

So? I really think that we deserve it!

So much in fact that to celebrate (ok maybe not because of, but in spite of) I went to Ulta and splurged on some new Bare Minerals Makeup and a few Smashbox shadows. Duane is hopefully buying a new cell phone tomorrow for himself to use and then for the both of us I made a $70 trip to Adam & Eve. and used a nifty 50% off one item code.
