I should be doing something else...

instead I am sitting at the computer. I was out this morning running errands- finishing up Aidynn's shopping and getting some digitals printed for scrapbooking, etc, etc.... and was on my feet for 4 hours.... I can now tell you that the idea was a mistake and the action was idiocy. MY FEET HURT!! I think I might go get a pedi tomorrow just for the damn massage! LOL I was going to straighten up a bit, but look what I did! Oh well, there's all day tomorrow while Duane is at work. I am sure I'll have plenty of time.

Anyhow. Last night Duane and I went out. We haven't done that for a while. It was so nice. First we went to the gaming store and bought Duane some new toys. He hasn't bought anything fun for a while, and we have spent so much money on the baby, it's made the budget a bit tight. He takes such good care of me, Aidynn, the apartment, the pets, he does everything I ask him, everything I don't ask him, and he never complains! EVER! *bragging a bit here!* So we went to the games store and spent 130$ on miniatures stuff for him. (One of his hobbies.) While walking to the register he noticed some decor stuff on the wall and made a comment on how he could get a certain set of mini's and paint them in a fall theme. I laughed so hard because of how he said it and HAD to comment - "YES! And that would be FABULOUS!!" It's so awesome spending everyday with my best friend. He always makes me laugh.

For dinner we went to Red Lobster (yum!), and then we went and bought all of the things I was talking about yesterday for Aidynn. (I went and got her a few more blankets and sleepers this morning...) Duane stood behind the register so he wouldn't have to see the total and he handed me his card. HAHA!! I can see him now when she's going off to college! But, we finally got her swing, and that is a huge relief for me... babies in my family NEED them. Every baby I know born in my family loves/loved to move! It was the last big thing she needed. This is one awesome swing! We got the Fisher Price Rainforest Cradle Swing -

How cute!

going along with our theme of gender neutral furniture and major accesories. (We might likely add to our family in the future)

Play Yard/Co-Sleeper/Changing Table
Travel System
Bouncer

The bouncer isn't gender neutral, but they only had the boppy version in pink and blue, and it was the one Duane liked of all we had seen. I really like when he chooses stuff for her.

This is what her crib looks like... but we still haven't assembled it.
Crib

Duane offered to put it together a few months (yes, months) ago, but I don't think we will use it for a few months, so I told him it could wait if he wanted. (It was so sweet to see him do all the "Daddy things"!) I almost hope she DOES wait until her due date. What could be a better gift for Father's Day?

I am very impressed with how well we have done with her wardrobe also. Not a single sighting of Winnie the Pooh, Cartoon Characters, "Princess", or "Ballerina" *gags*. With so many cute dresses out for summer right now, I don't mind the clothes shopping so much anymore.

We are probably going to go to Redding tomorrow evening (yes, again) depending on how I feel. (Wild horses will have to stop me though!) My brothers reception dinner that my grandparents are throwing is tomorrow, and I REALLY want to see my family. It really sucks that I'm going to miss my sister though, I'm going to start trying to convince her to drive down to see me when she comes to visit for the wedding.

Almost time to go get Duane!

How can I be so excited to see someone that I see every day?? 9 hours apart, and I missed him like crazy!
