Miss Aidynn Update

Little Miss Aidynn is just about ready to make her grand debut! She has indeed dropped (if you've seen me recently you can tell! This is pretty obvious...). She is head down, and weighs in at a little over 7 pounds (approximately). So on one hand this could mean that she could join us in the outside world tomorrow, while at the same time, she could be quite comfy enough to stay put for another 3 weeks.... Then we make her come out!

If she isn't here by 41 weeks (June 24) my doctor said we will set a date to induce. I'm not too worried about that. Like I said, I think she will be joining us a little early. Either way it is guaranteed that there will be a newborn baby girl in our arms within the next 3 weeks! Can you believe that!? 3 weeks!!

Today was my last day at work before my maternity leave.... it was going to be on Friday, but I was considering calling it a week a bit early since I have been so damn tired and have been having a few back spasms. My doctor confirmed my decision by telling me that considering the disk damage I have to my lower back, it would probably be a better idea to stop now before the spasms and pain gets any worse. There won't be anything to do about it if I let it get too bad. So "stay home and take it easy" - doctors orders.

I am so excited!!!

Now to finish baby shopping... ugh...
We have mostly everything, but there are still a few things that we haven't bought - swing, bath, baby towels, nail clippers, digital thermometer, boppy, burpie cloths, a few more blankets, birth announcements ( I need to figure out where we are taking her for her 1 week pictures too.. anyone have any recommendations?), she needs some more sleepers, and socks... its amazing how much we have bought, how much we got at the shower, how much Danielle has given us, and how much we still need! BABIES ARE EXPENSIVE!

I know she's worth it though.

So, I will be home... all the time... being bored.... you should all come and visit me and write to me! I'm going to go NUTS with nothing to do!
