Third Trimester!

Yesterday was the first day of our third trimester.

I do bother to reflect sometimes, in the middle of all of the work I do to make my life the way I would like it to be. Today was one of those days. In the middle of a day at work where most tasks were proving to be bothersome, people were cranky, clients and co-workers alike have chosen not to use their listening ears, and I would kill for an Iced Caramel Macchiato - I am deliriously happy with my life with Duane.

I wake up every morning beside my best friend, and know that I will be lucky enough to fall asleep beside him that night. Every day I talk to the little girl who is growing inside of me and tell her what a good man her daddy is, and how I'm so excited for her to meet him when she is born. Every day he shows me how much he loves this family.

So, I've read in the third trimester most women are tired. I'm not tired today.

Today, I am happy.
