Catching up...

Last weekend Duane and I drove to Redding and picked up Chase. There are a lot of things I have to say about my grandmothers behavior, but really I don't feel that it is worth my time to type them. The important thing is that my dog is FINALLY home! He seems to be adjusting very well. Spooky and Joey seemed to pick up right where they left off with Chase. Since they have known him since he was a puppy, they don't mind him much. Jack, however, doesn't appreciate not being the center of attention any longer. So much so, in fact, that after day one of us having to be at work/school Chase had 2 scratches down his chest. My guess would be that they were compliments of Dr Mikey Jackson - perhaps trying his hand at surgery? Regardless, I have been trying to pay attention to all of my fur-babies equally (ok maybe not successfully because I do favor Chase most of the time, but still.) I am so happy to have him back.

So we drove up there and went straight to pick him up, took him to get his hairs cut at Tara's house in Whitmoor, and then we came back to Redding and had some lunch. We stopped at my brother Daniels house to see him and one of my nieces and say hello. Then we went to see my brother David, who was at my grandparents house and let them say good bye. Then we went over to David and his fiancee's apartment, had some Chinese food, and then drove home. What a busy day! But it was so worth it to have him home the next day, and see how excited he got when I said we were going to the park.

We're going to the park again today after work.
