Weekend Adventures

Today we decided to take the kids out to lunch at Olive Garden - and it turned into quite the adventure for the family.

After Olive Garden we headed to the playground in the mall. I figured that if things went well enough we could take the girls to see a movie. Sure enough, they were perfect angels through lunch and had a blast at the playground. When Daddy wanted to leave and walk around a bit, there was hardly any resistance from them.

In fact, the only meltdown we had was when walking to the restrooms Aidy and I passed the chinese food court and the server offered us a "sample" - a sweet and sour pork on a toothpick. I politely declined and kept walking. It was then that we reached the bathroom and Aidy lost it!

I could hardly figure out why as it was so sudden, and then she looked at me with tears streaming down her face and said, "Mommy I want a sucker." Sample.... sounded to her like sucker. Well honestly it sounded to me like sucker too.

So I had to explain to Aidy that the lady wasn't offering a sucker, she was offering meat on a stick. Poor kiddo.

Well, then we stopped at a few stores and then headed to the movie theater. We watched about 80% of Planet 51 before my right breast decided that it was going to hurt as it has never hurt before. Painful milk coming in kind of a hurt. If you have never experienced this, be grateful. We had to leave the theater. As Aidy was ready to go, and Kindle was sleeping in Daddy's arms they were just fine with that.

As luck would have it, after walking about for 10 minutes back to the car the boob-pain went away. Odd but I'm not complaining at all. AT ALL.

So I took the opportunity to extort 3 fragrances and 2 body creams from Hubs at Bath & Body Works (^_~) and then passing a kiddo shoe store I bought a few pairs of Robee's for my Kinny girl.

Heading out we stopped for some ice cream.

A packed day. Lots of running, lots of fun, lots of smiles.

I love these days.
