Save the Squirrels!

Yesterday was Mommy's birthday! As we were getting ready to go out to dinner we looked on the back patio and saw two new baby... SOMETHINGS crawling around!

At first Mommy thought they were baby rats and nearly had a panic attack. Then she looked more closely and it turns out they were two baby squirrels! They were sooo cute!

They were being attacked by ants. So Daddy got her a towel, and Mommy picked them up and carefully got the ants off of them while the Mommy squirrel watched from the tree in a panic. Mom and Dad put the babies in a box with the towel and set it at the base of the tree that they fell from.

Then we left, when we got back the babies were gone. Back home with their Mommy!

We wish we had thought to take pictures, but we were definitely excited to have an animal experience so close to... well actually AT home!
