No sounds of random toys going off..
"I love you!"
"HUG ME!"
"You're my friend!"
"If you're happy and you know it...."
No sounds of music from Baby Einstein DVD's or CD's.
No sounds of happy squeals or of a little Miss screaming at the kitties (so that they will come to her, of course...)
I had labwork to get done this morning, and my boss told me to take an extra day off to get it done. So I dropped Aidynn off at her new daycare for a half day. I figured a half day might be a bit less traumatic for her first day without me or Daddy.
BUT FOR WHOM!?
I went and got my labwork done. They poked me with needles and made me pee in a cup. Hooray! Then I had to go to the specialty pet store to get my pampered precious fur-babies their 55$ a bag, all protien and veggie, no grain, low carb, a-diet-like-they-would-eat-if-they-lived-in-the-wild-but-in-kibble-form food. I don't really mind, because it is what is best for them.
Then I bought myself a special present, cause I deserve it
, and some lunch, and I went home..... and here I am.Not even 2 hours later... and I am wanting to go get my baby girl. I miss her like crazy. I have to wait though.... this is good for her. She is having a blast, I know it. She is playing with other kids and learning important social skills. She is beginning a new bond with her daycare provider and familiarizing herself with her new surroundings.
Not that this helps me in the least.
I should get up and go out and distract myself.... or take a nap... or finish reading my book... clean house.... just try ot get my mind off how much I miss her until I go get her at 4:00pm like I said I would.....
but I think I will change that to 3:00pm.
