Ultrasound Day

So, in case some of you didn't know I had a doctors appointment on Thursday.

*POSSIBLE TOO MUCH INFO WARNING*

My uterus was measuring small for how far along I was supposedly. So the doctor sent me to have an ultrasound.

Drink a lot of water.
Nearly piss my pants.
Dance around for a while.
Whine to Duane.
Not a lot visible.
Nice lady lets me pee.
I peed forever.
I come back out and we try again using a different method.

Finally:

I get to see a heartbeat.

179 beats per minute.

I also got to see little arms and legs and a big head. (Proportionately to the size of the baby of course.) A baby that measures at 9 weeks and 1 day old. New due date is June 17, 2007.

For the first time since I found out I was pregnant I felt completely.... joyful.

It almost doesn't seem real. Like any minute I am going to wake up.
