I kinda suspected he had flipped himself, considering there were a few moments last week when I felt like he was trying to make an escape Aliens style.
He is still measuring around 33 weeks - so he is catching up! Slowing down a bit, which is awesome because that also (I'm sure) had a lot to do with my absolutely awesome ZERO lb weight gain over the last 3 weeks. Sure, I cut out a lot of junk food, I refuse to go grocery shopping until the house is clear and free of bad carbs, and I have barely had a chance to sit between nesting, running errands, and taking care of the girlies, but still. Since my current weight is the same as it was when I delivered each of my girls, I'm not so enthusiastic about gaining much more. If he needs it great, store it up big boy, but I've got stores for him to live off of for at least another 5 weeks.
I think Hubs has had a lot to do with the lack of weight gain as well. He has taken a proactive approach to becoming healthier, including moving towards a more Paleolithic diet. Since he does all the cooking, meals are much more carbohydrate conservative and there's no sugar, preservatives, or processing. You know... "healthy" and all that. Lots of meat. We bought the family a freezer and he's excited because he can fit a whole cow in it.
Tomorrow is his birthday. I got him some books on Paleo nutrition and I have special order him some Vibram Five Fingers running shoes - they can't seem to keep them stocked so online it is! I'm also getting him a cake. I told him though. My reasoning is that we are celebrating his life. It warrants cake for at least his children and wife. We are celebrating dammit.... and we want CAKE!
He laughed.
