Honey-Do

Hi, my name is Kristi, and I am ... a nestoholic?

I don't remember it quite being this bad with the girls' pregnancies, but this last week hit and holy hell everything needs to be done NOW and THOROUGHLY. Also, since I can't do everything, dearest Hubs needs to.

Sounds fair enough right?

I was just thinking about it this morning and I have to give him a little more credit. So {warning} I am about to brag on him.

  • He has tolerated my mood swings throughout this pregnancy. Only deserving of such venom once really.

  • He works night shift and gets home very late but has been getting up with the girls at 6:30 am so that I can get some more sleep.

  • He cooks every dinner, and most of the other meals as well.

  • He does the dishes.

  • He does the laundry. This includes all of the sheets/blankets/items that were victim of a vomiting toddler the past few days - this totaled 8 loads of laundry today.

  • He cleaned up said toddlers tummy troubles from the carpet.

  • He runs most of the errands.

  • He tolerates my mood swings.

  • He helps with all of the other housework, as well has been infinitely patient in my everlasting Honey-Do list.

  • He goes shopping with me at Target, Raley's, Old Navy, etc... with minimal complaint.

  • Yesterday he bought me roses.

  • Today he brought me Starbucks.

  • Did I mention he tolerates my mood swings?

He's been going out of his way to make me happy (which I admit is a difficult undertaking even without pregnancy fueling) and he's doing an awesome job. Even as I write this the girlies are napping while he is out in the cold with a head cold looking at a new minivan for the family. Simply because I was impatient and wanted to check it out today... but didn't want to go myself with the kids.

He deserves a present. I told him so.

You rock babe!

Now... back to that Honey-Do list...
