Given' Up The Bottle

It has been over a week since my daughter has had a bottle... or formula.

I didn't take these things away from her. She began to refuse them after I slowly (yeah... uh.. slowly) introduced her to cows milk around 11 months. Two days after having the cows milk, only given in a sippy, she wanted nothing to do with a bottle. She wanted nothing to do with formula either - even if it was in a sippy. She would just look at me like, "What is this crap? This isn't milk." and proceed to throw it on the floor and crawl off.

She gave up her bedtime bottle about a week before all of this happened. I was flabbergasted and I couldn't quite figure it out.

She did this all on her own. I think she is the first kid in my family to voluntarily give up the bottle without a fight before the age of 3. I am very happy about this, but at the same time, I feel like ever since she was born she has been in a hurry to grow up. Kinda reminds me of another little girl I used to know.....
