On Saturday, Aidynn got to go to work with me to do inventory. She loved all of the attention from everyone and laughed and smiled. My coworkers were amazed at how well behaved she was considering she is only 1 week shy of 6 months old. She was totally laid back and happy to look around and laugh at everyone vying for her attention. She even took a nap right amidst the busy office while people were running, and talking, printers were printing, and phones were ringing all around her!
I only hope that our next baby is as wonderfully behaved as this one.
Saturday evening we were sitting on the couch after a long day. Aidynn was happily gurgling and chewing on a scrumptious Daddy finger when much to his surprise he felt.......
TEETH!
We have TWO TOOFERS!
I looked and sure enough, right there, the bottom two front teeth have broken through and those pearly whites are clear to see. (Even if she does her best to hide them from me with her tongue.... *laughs*)
All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth: Lyrics
Every body Pauses and stares at me
These two teeth are gone as you can see
I don't know just who to blame for this catastrophe!
But my one wish on Christmas Eve is as plain as it can be!
All I want for Christmas
is my two front teeth,
my two front teeth,
see my two front teeth!
Gee, if I could only
have my two front teeth,
then I could wish you
"Merry Christmas."
It seems so long since I could say,
"Sister Susie sitting on a thistle!"
Gosh oh gee, how happy I'd be,
if I could only whistle (thhhh, thhhh)
All I want for Christmas
is my two front teeth,
my two front teeth,
see my two front teeth.
Gee, if I could only
have my two front teeth,
then I could wish you
"Merry Christmas!"
We use sign language with Aidynn for "Eat", "Mommy", and "Daddy". This morning before I left for work she made the sign for EAT! When I gasped and said, "Aidynn wants to eat?" she got wide eyed and did it again!I am so proud of her.
She is so smart.I am so proud of Duane for working on that with her. He shows her so much dedication and love.
I am so happy with each advancement, and each development fills me with so much joy to know that Duane and I are doing such a good job with her. At the same time though, sometimes I look at her and think, "Where is my baby growing up to?"
