Aidynn's Auntie Loves Her!

(This pic was taken on that Sunday morning before I went into labor.)

Auntie Dusty lives in Washington and LOVES her niece. She hasn't been able to visit Aidynn yet, so she sent her presents which we received today:

How cute are these?!? Blue is definitely Aidynn's color - it matches her gorgeous eyes. My favorite outfit to put her in was her blue and white tank and short set - in the same pattern! My sister and I seem to have very similar tastes - even being seperated for the last 5 or so years. I'll make sure to get some pics when she wears this. So adorable!

Speaking of my sister - tomorrow is 4th of July and it has officially been 1 year since I have been to Washington. It makes me sad, especially now, because 4th of July being my favorite holiday, and all of the amazingly huge and gorgeous fireworks displays that they light off in my sisters old neighborhood (not to mention the parties..mmm Sangria!).... I am so sad that I am missing it. Even missing Duane as much as I did, I had so much fun with her last year, I was hoping that I would get to spend this year with my sis as well. The fireworks here will be too loud for our little miss, so we won't be going to see any shows - up there we could light them off on the lawn with her inside the house. Ahh well... there is always next year.

Duane and I might have plans for that day - next year - in which my sister would most definitely be included... or she would kick my ass.

Duane, Aidynn, and I were invited to our friend Teri's house for a 4th party. (Which reminds me, I need to figure out what to bring....) It sounds like fun, and I am excited to get out of the house and socialize with friends away from my living room! I've been out and about, but so far only to run errands and take Chase to the park. I'm definitely not a people person, but I've got cabin fever, and I'm jumping out of my skin with the need to move around!

I am sure that in a few weeks, when Daddy gets to stay home with her and I go back to work, I will be wishing I could take back those words. I miss her so much already.

I've been getting the sweetest emails from my friends and family regarding all of the blogs and pics of Aidynn and how they are appreciated and enjoyed. You are all very welcome, we love you ALL, and we are very happy and fortunate to have you in our lives.
