Can you say "ou-ouch"?

Dinner last night was delicious! I cooked, had lots of fresh pineapple, and after dinner Duane rubbed my feet to try and stimulate the pressure points. Then we watched some TV, and had Ben and Jerry's - Willie Nelson's Peach Cobbler Ice Cream (which is SO tasty!). Basically - I did everything that I could possibly find that was said to safely induce labor by starting contractions.

Mission accomplished! Something I did last night was definitely effective in causing contractions... for about 3 hours I was in some serious discomfort. *sigh* Miss Aidynn just must not have been ready yet. This morning I got a good head-butt to the bladder - as if in saying "What was THAT all about last night!?"

I felt like nearly every nerve in my lower back was being pinched and it was so sore..... and then it would go away.... and then it would come back.... it seriously wasn't fun. (Yes, I hear you all saying - "well DUH!") I had some serious second thoughts about trying to induce again soon after the first hour was over.

I was so uncomfortable I had to move to the couch in the middle of the night. Trust me - it takes a lot to get me to separate from Duane at night.

I am a little bit sad today. It's Thursday... my favorite little brother David is getting married this weekend... and I can't be there because of the distance. My sister is coming down from Seattle for the wedding and I don't get to see her either. My whole family will be there! Instead I get to sit here... tired and 39 weeks pregnant.. unable to do anything without discomfort... and wait for this baby to decide to make her debut.

*sigh*

To top it all off.... I keep feeling nauseous.
